3. 社區小班／拼讀與會話過渡型（兼顧發音底子與開口習慣）

有些孩子不敢開口是因為「不知道怎麼發音」，建立好拼讀底子（Phonics）能給予他們讀字、說句子的底氣。

• Babington Education
• 特色：專注於 Oxford Reading Tree 及 RWI（Read Write Inc.）拼讀系統，小班教學（通常 4–6 人一班）。
• 為什麼適合：班級人數極少，老師對每位孩子的關注度很高。孩子學會拼讀規則後，能夠自己拼讀出單字，會顯著提升朗讀與開口對話的底氣。

• 為什麼適合：以卡牌、桌遊、歌曲等遊戲化教學為主，節奏輕鬆，對於年紀較小（幼稚園至初小）且剛接觸全英環境的孩子來說，適應門檻相對較低。

建議挑選時的 3 個小技巧：

1. 優先選擇「4–6 人超小班」：

對於害羞的孩子，4–6 人的規模最剛好——既有同齡小朋友互動的輕鬆氛圍，老師也能隨時照顧到孩子的反應，不會被反應快、外向的同學搶走所有發言機會。

2. 務必安排試堂（Trial Class），觀察老師的「引導方式」：

試堂時主要觀察兩點：

• 老師是否會給孩子足夠的「思考與等待時間」（Wait time），而不是急著跳過他去問別人；
• 老師是以鼓勵讚美為主，還是頻繁打斷孩子糾正細微文法錯誤（過度糾錯會加深孩子的恐懼感）。

3. 初期不要把目標放在「講得正確」，而是「願意發聲」：

如果孩子平常排斥英語，可以先從戲劇班（Drama）或英語烹飪／科學營等注重操作的課程切入，等孩子放下戒心、覺得「說英語是一件有趣的事」之後，再銜接到系統性的英語會話或閱讀班。
