Fibertex Personal Care
Fibertex Personal Care is a Danish company.
What raw materials are used in the production of spunbond and spunmelt nonwovens?
“The production process uses polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) polymer resins along with selected additives.”
在公司資料中查看How are the fibres formed in the spunbond and meltblown processes?
“The raw materials are melted and extruded into fibres. In spunbond, the polymer passes through a die plate with multiple rows of holes. The fibres are stretched and deposited on a moving belt. In meltblown, the fibres are extruded through a single row of holes and stretched using high-velocity hot air.”
在公司資料中查看What is the typical diameter of spunbond fibres?
“Spunbond fibres generally have a diameter of 13–17 microns (1.2–2.0 dtex).”
在公司資料中查看What is the typical diameter of meltblown fibres?
“Meltblown fibres are finer, typically ranging from 1–5 microns in diameter.”
在公司資料中查看What roles do spunbond and meltblown fibres play in the final fabric?
“Spunbond fibres provide strength and structure. Meltblown fibres create a barrier layer due to their fine diameter.”
在公司資料中查看What does SMS or SMMS mean?
“These terms refer to the structure of the nonwoven: Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond (SMS) or Spunbond-Meltblown-Meltblown-Spunbond (SMMS), where meltblown layers are enclosed by spunbond layers.”
在公司資料中查看How is the nonwoven fabric bonded?
“The fibre web is thermally bonded using heated rollers, ensuring optimal strength and softness.”
在公司資料中查看How are hydrophilic or antistatic properties added?
“A surfactant is applied in-line during production to provide hydrophilic or antistatic properties when needed.”
在公司資料中查看How is quality controlled before shipping?
“The fabric is scanned by cameras for defects before being rolled into jumbo rolls. These are later slit and packed according to customer requirements.”
