As a starting point: SS 316/316L for phosphoric acid and pharmaceutical intermediates; duplex for aggressive chlorides; rubber-lined carbon steel for hydrochloric and dilute sulphuric acid; FRP-lined carbon steel for concentrated acids, alkalis and solvents.
