My outdoor AC unit is silent but the indoor fan runs. Is it a big repair?
“Usually not. Usually the run capacitor has failed or the contactor is pitted. We test with a meter, replace the part, and verify the compressor and fan motor both pull correct amps before we leave. Some companies quote this symptom as a system problem. It is a small part.”

“No. A system that needs refrigerant has a leak, and topping it off bills you for the same call again in two weeks. We are EPA Section 608 Universal certified: we find the leak with nitrogen and electronic detection, repair it, and weigh the charge back to the nameplate with a scale.”

“The on-site diagnosis is $99 and is credited toward the repair. You get a written estimate with one total price after diagnosis and before any work starts. We verify completed work with a temperature split across the coil and a pressure reading.”
