How accurate are scan-based as-built drawings?
“Our FARO Focus scanners are rated to about 1/8 inch at 20 feet; final drawing tolerance depends on registration and modeling. Drafted drawings are traced from the point cloud, and we agree the drawing tolerance for each project up front.”

“Pricing depends on square footage, number of floors, drawing types, and delivery format. A single-floor commercial space (5,000-10,000 sq ft) with floor plan and RCP typically starts around $1,500-$2,500. Larger or more complex projects are quoted individually. Contact us for a specific estimate.”
在公司资料中查看Can you work from an occupied building?
“Yes: most of our Chicago as-built projects are in occupied commercial buildings. We schedule scanning around tenant activity and minimize disruption. Typical floor scanning takes 2-3 hours.”
在公司资料中查看How are drawings organized and layered?
“CAD files are delivered with standard AIA layer naming conventions by default. Custom layer schemes are available on request. All drawings are georeferenced to a consistent coordinate system across floors.”
