For one wholesale group we built the full purchase to pay chain and it runs today: supplier offers turned into purchase orders, approval by role, goods receipt against the order, the supplier invoice matched to both, and payment released only when all three agree. Suppliers submit invoices through a portal, and approved submissions become draft records in the ERP.”
