Pimcore GmbH
Pimcore GmbH is an Austrian company.
What is a DAM and how does it differ from a PIM system?
“A DAM (Digital Asset Management) manages digital files such as images, videos, and documents—including metadata, versions, and rights. A PIM manages structured product information (attributes, copy, variants) and publishes it to channels.”
在公司资料中查看Which media types (images, videos, 3D models) does Pimcore DAM support natively?
“Pimcore DAM can manage virtually any file as an asset and provides in-platform previews for 200+ file formats, including common image/video formats and specialized formats like 3D/AR depending on setup. Images supported include JPG, PNG, PSD, TIFF, and SVG with previews via ImageMagick.”
在公司资料中查看Which storage options are available (cloud, on-premise, hybrid)?
“Pimcore can run in the cloud, on-premises, or as PaaS—and asset files can be connected to different storage systems via a flexible storage concept using Flysystem. The deployment options follow the principle of run anywhere, scale everywhere.”
在公司资料中查看How are metadata, tags, and categories defined and managed?
“Pimcore manages metadata via configurable structures including Enterprise Asset Metadata, and complements this with tags as an additional taxonomy that can also be used directly for filtering. Enterprise Asset Metadata allows defining metadata similarly to classes, including additional data types.”
