What is the difference between a helpdesk and a service desk?
“A helpdesk focuses on restoring a broken service, such as a failed login or a crashed application. A service desk takes a broader view, treating IT as a service to the business and aligning requests with business needs. Many small organizations use the terms interchangeably.”
