Jacaranda Labs
Jacarenda Labs: “AI integration and automation consultancy. We design and build the systems that handle sales, finance, HR, recruitment, and data. We also modernise the systems you already have.”
How much does AI integration cost for a 200-person company?
“Between €120k and €220k all-in for the first production system, based on the median SMB engagement J Labs has shipped: somewhere between RAG over documents and AI in the CRM, at a company with clean-enough data.”
View in the company profileWhat are the biggest hidden costs in an AI project?
“Three sinks swallow most of the budget: data preparation at 35–45%, eval and observability at 15–20%, and change management at 10–15%. Data preparation is the largest every time: schema drift, identifiers that mean three things in three tables, half-deduplicated records and PII redaction.”
View in the company profileHow much does a RAG system cost to build for an SMB?
“€40–120k for a production-grade RAG system over documents the team already owns. It has the lowest floor cost of the four SMB archetypes and the highest hidden retrieval-engineering cost.”
View in the company profileWhat percentage of an AI budget should go to data preparation?
“Plan 35–45% of the total budget for data preparation. In every engagement J Labs has led, the data layer ate more time than every other workstream combined, and the team always thinks it has less of it than it does.”
