Brewlytics.ai: “Brewlytics is the AI brewery loyalty and customer-intelligence platform. Barley, our AI bartender, learns each customer's taste and brings them back.”
Does liking IPAs mean I have a 'better' palate?
“No. Bitterness tolerance is partly learned and partly genetic — some people are 'supertasters' who experience bitterness much more intensely, so disliking hoppy beer can literally mean you taste it more strongly. There's no hierarchy of palates, just different wiring and different training. The 'best' beer is the one you want a second of.”
View in the company profileWhy did I used to hate beer and now I love it?
“Palates adapt. Repeated exposure to bitterness and carbonation dials down the initial 'yuck' response, which is why many people climb from sweet/light beers toward hoppier or more bitter ones over time. Your taste isn't fixed — it's a path you walk.”
View in the company profileWhat are the main 'dials' that define my beer taste?
“Six big ones: bitterness (hops), malt sweetness, body/mouthfeel, carbonation, funk/acidity (sours and saisons), and ABV/strength. Almost every beer preference is just a particular setting of these dials. Once you know yours, any beer menu becomes readable.”
