View in the company profileAre credit checks required for financial services employees?
“Credit checks are not universally required but are widely used for roles involving fiduciary authority, account access, cash handling, or financial decision-making. They require specific FCRA disclosures, written authorization, and documented job-relatedness.”
View in the company profileWhy are deepfake fraud detection and synthetic identity checks relevant for financial services hiring?
“Financial services roles are a primary target for identity fraud in hiring because the access gained is immediately valuable. Deepfake technology is actively used in remote interviews to impersonate qualified candidates.”
View in the company profileWhat is global watchlist and sanctions screening and when is it required?
“Global watchlist and sanctions screening checks candidates against OFAC Specially Designated Nationals lists, UN Security Council designations, EU sanctions, FBI Most Wanted, INTERPOL notices, and hundreds of international regulatory enforcement databases. For financial services employers, watchlist screening is a compliance expectation for roles with international exposure, correspondent banking relationships, or federal regulatory oversight.”
