How long does an HR interview last?
“Usually 15 to 30 minutes for freshers and mid-level roles, and longer for senior roles where compensation and notice period take more discussion. Expect around eight to twelve questions.”

“It can be. Many candidates are rejected in the HR round over salary mismatch, notice period, relocation, inconsistent answers or poor communication. Prepare for it as seriously as the technical round.”
View in the company profileHow many days after the HR round do you get the result?
“It varies by company, from the same day in some campus drives to a few weeks for experienced hires. Ask HR about the next steps and timeline at the end of the interview so you know when to follow up.”

“In India it is usually asked and often verified, so state it accurately. In some US states employers may not ask about salary history; there, you can answer with your expected range instead.”
