Verito
Verito: “Work from anywhere on your firm's own private cloud server. Verito manages IT for tax and accounting firms: blazing fast and secure with support in under 60 seconds.”
What gets backed up?
“Every tax-software data folder, every client file, every working document stored on your Verito server. QuickBooks, Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries, CCH, and any PDFs, spreadsheets, or client correspondence your team saves alongside them.”
View in the company profileWhat's the recovery point on your backups?
“Four snapshots a day, a six-hour recovery point. The most you could ever lose is roughly one return's worth of work. The cadence is calibrated to how tax work actually flows. A return at 2:30pm isn't materially different from the noon snapshot.”
View in the company profileHow fast can you restore?
“Single-file restores finish in minutes. Full-server restores target under two hours on a six-hour recovery point. Both numbers land in your quarterly report so there are no surprises on the worst day.”
View in the company profileHow does disaster recovery work after ransomware?
“Immutable snapshots and air-gapped storage mean the backup copy can't be encrypted or deleted by the attacker. We isolate the affected server, restore from the last clean snapshot, and hand you the incident log for your insurer.”
View in the company profileDoes this satisfy FTC Safeguards and IRS Pub 4557?
“Yes. Our retention, testing, and documentation map to FTC Safeguards §314.4 and the backup-control language in IRS Pub 4557. You get the paperwork your auditor and insurer expect, without assembling it yourself.”
