Questions & answers
What colocation options do you offer?
“From a single rack to a turnkey private suite or cage — depending on your business needs.”
Which telecom operators and ISPs are available?
“We collaborate with multiple providers. Specific connectivity options are discussed individually based on client requirements.”
Is 24/7 support available?
“Yes. Remote hands are available 24/7 for technical operations and on-site assistance.”
Can high-load AI/ML systems be hosted?
“Yes. Our infrastructure supports AI/ML workloads, including deployments on NVIDIA-based HPC. High-density rack requests are reviewed case-by-case.”
Do you bypass sanctions?
“No. We work exclusively with companies not subject to international sanctions. Sanction circumvention is strictly prohibited.”
When does Akashi go live?
“The first phase is scheduled to launch in May 2027, with pipeline already 107% filled pre-launch (5.54 MW reserved against DC-1 capacity).”
Does TCDD mean the facility is already Tier IV certified?
“No. TCDD (Tier Certification of Design Documents) certifies the design, not the built hall. TCCF (Tier Certification of Constructed Facility) is the on-site audit of the constructed facility, planned for April 2027. TCDD is not TCCF.”
What power density do you support per rack?
“Up to 20 kW per rack. Cabinets are 1200 mm wide with coded access and dual PDUs, sized for high-density loads including AI/ML.”
How many cabinets can we start with?
“From a single cabinet up to 1,000+. Scale is commercial, not an engineering cap — the campus is planned for 4,224 racks across four DC buildings.”
Do we need capital expenditure for cabinets?
“No. Cabinet rental is colocation without capex: you place equipment in a fully equipped rack and pay for space, power, and operations rather than building a hall.”
How is each cabinet secured?
“Coded access on the cabinet, plus campus multi-perimeter access control and 24/7 CCTV. Remote hands can perform agreed work without handing out extra keys.”
When does cabinet colocation launch?
“May 2027 with DC-1. The pre-launch pipeline is already 107% filled (5.54 MW reserved against DC-1). Talk to sales to reserve density and count.”
What is a private cage?
“A dedicated section of the server hall with an enhanced security perimeter. Only your authorized staff can enter — 24/7 — without taking an entire private room.”
How does a cage differ from a cabinet or a full room?
“A cabinet is one lockable rack (up to 20 kW). A cage is an isolated multi-rack zone with its own perimeter. A dedicated room is a full hall under exclusive client control, including custom engineering.”
Is power dedicated to the cage?
“Yes. Power delivery is guaranteed for the cage load, on the same campus feeds: two independent 110 kV sources, UPS 5/4N, and 12-hour generator autonomy.”
Can we mix standard and non-standard cabinets?
“Yes. The cage supports standard and non-standard server cabinets of any size, with flexible layout inside the perimeter.”
When will cage colocation be available?
“With the first phase in May 2027. Pre-launch pipeline is already 107% of DC-1 capacity. Reservations are discussed with sales.”
What is a dedicated server room at Akashi?
“An isolated hall under full client control — a turnkey engineering solution for scalable, enterprise-grade IT infrastructure, not a shared cage or a single cabinet.”
Which engineering systems can be customized?
“Cooling, access control, monitoring, and fire suppression are tailored to the room. Power is delivered through two independent 110 kV feeds with UPS 5/4N redundancy and 12 hours of generator autonomy at full load.”
Who is a private hall for?
“Enterprises that need an isolated security perimeter, on-site workspace for their own engineers, and room to grow cabinets of any type and size — without sharing the hall.”
Is 24/7 access and remote hands included?
“Yes. Access-controlled rooms operate around the clock, and remote hands are available 24/7 for on-site technical operations.”
When can a dedicated room go live?
“First phase (DC-1) is scheduled to launch in May 2027. Pre-launch demand is already 107% of DC-1 capacity (5.54 MW reserved). Capacity is discussed individually.”
