Is DEF the same as AdBlue?

“Yes, DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is the generic/US term; AdBlue is the trademarked name used mainly in Europe and other markets for thesame urea-based fluid used in SCR emissions systems. Monitoring needs are identical regardless of which name a fleet uses.”
