What GMP and regulatory requirements does a pharmaceutical CDMO need to meet?
“A pharmaceutical CDMO has to operate under the same GMP framework as the sponsor company itself, including EU GMP Annex 1 for sterile products, FDA cGMP, and, depending on the target market, further approvals from the relevant national authorities.”
在公司資料中查看How is intellectual property protected when outsourcing filling and packaging to a CDMO?
“Working with a CDMO always means sharing formulation and process know-how with an external partner, so IP protection typically rests on a combination of contractual confidentiality agreements, restricted access to project documentation, and clear ownership clauses for any process improvements developed during the collaboration.”
在公司資料中查看What cost and contract models are common in CDMO partnerships?
“CDMO contracts range from simple fee-for-service filling on a per-batch basis to longer-term agreements that bundle process development, trial fillings, and series production under one framework, with pricing tied to batch size, complexity, and the level of customization required.”
在公司資料中查看What criteria matter most when choosing a CDMO partner?
“The decisive factors are usually technical fit (can the CDMO's filling technology handle the product's viscosity, temperature sensitivity, or dosing requirements), regulatory track record, available capacity, and how early in development the partner can get involved.”
