LK Energy Group
LK Energy Group: “Ukrainian manufacturer of electrical switchgear and packaged substations 0.4–35 kV (KTP, KSO, distribution boards, ATS, LV switchboards) based in Odesa, Ukraine; turnkey solar power plant (EPC) contractor. On the market since 2005.”
How does a grid-tied solar power plant differ from a hybrid one with a battery?
“A grid-tied plant operates only during the day and only when there is voltage in the grid — it feeds excess energy into the grid, but shuts off during an outage. A hybrid plant has a battery: it stores energy during the day and powers the site in the evening and during outages.”

“Only if the plant has a battery (hybrid or with a battery energy storage system, BESS) or a generator. Standard grid-tied panels automatically shut off during an outage — this is a safety requirement. If you need autonomy, we design in a battery from the start.”

“It depends on the capacity, type of site and your consumption. We calculate this for your specific site as part of a commercial proposal: capacity, approximate turnkey cost, savings and payback period. For an estimate, your average electricity bill is enough.”
